NCAA Athletics and Eligibility Center

The NCAA Eligibility Center certifies academic eligibility and amateur credentials for all student-athletes who want to compete in NCAA Division I or II athletics and requires:

  • Graduation date

  • Amateurism questionnaire

  • Official transcripts and test scores

  • $70 registration fee

Checklist for NCAA Academic Eligibility:
✔ NCAA Eligibility Worksheets for Division I or II – Meet with your guidance counselor to notify them you want play a sport in college. Use your up-to-date transcript and your 4-year academic plan in order to verify that your courses meet the NCAA core course requirements. Update your NCAA worksheet after each semester to make sure you are on track.
✔ SAT/ACT Testing – Verify these tests are required by the NCAA as part of the eligibility process (they were not during COVID). Use the code “9999” for NCAA to have your test scores reported directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center. Test scores will not be accepted off of high school transcripts.
✔ Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center – Register the summer after your freshman year.
✔ Request high school transcripts be sent to the NCAA Eligibility Center – Official high school transcripts (from all high schools attended) must be sent directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center after completing junior year AND after graduation.
