Follow-Through, Inc looks forward to sharing a behind-the-scenes experience with college students studying event management, marketing, non-profit organizations, and sports management. Our internships allow students to perform mission-critical roles for our business development, community outreach, events, and marketing teams. These positions are ideal for organized self-starters who seek to sharpen their skills alongside dedicated leaders and professionals in a team-oriented and community-focused environment.

This internship begins in early May and provides firsthand exposure to nonprofit operations, youth program delivery, and event coordination. Interns will be trusted to represent Follow-Through, Inc. in the community and gain valuable experience supporting student-athletes as they prepare for life beyond the game.

Summer 2026 Internship Opportunity
Follow-Through, Inc. | “Sports is a Destination, Education is a Journey” Basketball Camp

Interns will gain practical experience across key operational areas as they help bring our flagship summer program to life. This opportunity is ideal for students passionate about sports, education, and community impact.

Internship Tasks & Focus Areas

Business Development
Serve as a liaison between our camp operations and development teams—assisting with sponsor outreach, in-kind donation tracking, activation support, and visibility opportunities for our partners.

Marketing
Support the creation and rollout of social media campaigns, email newsletters, and other digital content. Interns will collaborate with staff to share impact stories, promote events, and drive community engagement.

Community Outreach
Assist with communications and logistics related to youth recruitment, school partnerships, and mentor engagement. Interns will also help coordinate follow-up events with student-athletes and families.

Event Coordination
Support all aspects of camp planning and execution—including registration, daily setup, enrichment activities, and student-athlete experience. Interns will play a vital role in creating a fun, structured, and enriching environment.

Availability & Key Dates

The following activities and events require intern participation, with some evening and weekend availability:

  • Intern Orientation: January 2026 (Date TBD)

  • Senior Spring League: March, 2026 (Tentative)

  • Basketball Camp Week: June 1–5, 2026

  • Park Tournament Backpack Giveaway : July 26, 2026 (Tentative)

  • Weekly Planning Meetings and Outreach Activities: June–July 2026

Ideal Candidates

  • College students or recent grads (preferably in education, sport management, nonprofit leadership, or communications)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Experience working with youth or in a team setting is a plus

  • Passion for equity, mentorship, and sport-based youth development
